What Our Customers Say

verified customer reviews

“We really enjoyed our lunch there. The atmosphere is "dinner-like" dimmed lights, "heavy" old interior. There are 2 areas - one a little more formal with table clothes on tables, and the other with more casual seating.

The food was great: we had soups, steak, tuna and kids meal. We are yet to try dessert, we got it to-go. Steak and tuna made to perfection - NOT overcooked. Steak, tuna and dessert portions were huge and worth the price.

But what impressed us most is the service - not sure if everyone was like this, but our server Brandon was just excellent - just the right amount of conversation, with a lot of attention and little details that make a big difference in the overall experience! Recently, it has been rare to see this level of service at the restaurants of the same level. Very pleasantly surprised!

We definitely will be back!”

“If I could give our experience more than 5 stars I would!! We had dinner for my husbands birthday. The server, Jared, was so attentive, thoughtful and patient with us! It was our first visit. My husband accidentally spilled his water and they had a team who immediately changed the entire tablecloth for us!!! We were so apologetic and embarrassed but all the staff made us feel at ease. I can’t recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back. I ordered the crab cake and crab imperial with sweet potato, no complaints! My husband got the Atlantic salmon, loaded baked potato and asparagus. He loved it! To finish everything off we ordered the vanilla crème brûlée, best restaurant dessert I’ve had. My hats off to everyone involved!!! Food!! Staff!! Service!! Environment!! Everything was perfect. Thank you for making our experience one we won’t forget. I added pictures but forgot to take some of ALL the food we got. 😅”

“Went for Sunday brunch and had the best prime rib sliced to order. A lot of bread and breakfast items and a great Crab soup but it could of been hotter and not Luke warm. Plenty of desserts to choose from and all delicious and one dollar mimosas and bloody Marys were a bonus. Bring a big appetite cause lots of tasty items to choose from. Beautiful setting and friendly prompt service.”

“I went here to have Sunday brunch around noon. The restaurant was moderately busy but the staff was very friendly and it only took about 15 minutes to get seated. I ordered the Sunday brunch buffet, all of the selections I tried we're delicious. The pasta dishes with cooked perfectly just the right amount of Al dente. The biscuits where amazing crusty on the outside but soft and fluffy like a cloud on the inside. The creamed chipped beef was creamy and rich without being too heavy. All the vegetable offerings they had we're delicious and not overcooked to the point of being soggy. Overall the food was top notch but I do think for the price of $40 per person for the brunch it could of had a few more food selection options. But that would be my only criticism the food was really delicious and the service was great and the place was very clean. I would definitely come here again!”

“Always consistently delicious. We got the oysters Rockefeller, surf and turf will the filet and crab cake, and the lighter fare lobster tail. Our server also surprised us with a birthday dessert for my father's heavenly 77th birthday, which we were celebrating that day. A wonderful night in every way!”

“We have been going here for the last 20+yrs with friends and family in January. The food and service is always amazing and the dungeon (bottom floor) expansion dining rooms are perfect for our large group. The bar is right next to the dining rooms & for our group its perfect for happy hour before dinner,...& then a handful of us stay for a second happy hour after dinner 😄.

The place is great for large families and business dinners, did a few of those here too.

Only giving 4 our of 5 because of the menu prices that have gone through the roof. Some of our group are on the ledge with continuing to go due to the rising cost. If Dutchs Daughter watches these reviews my message is please level off the cost increases.”

“He made reservations, which I recommend for Valentine's dinner.

We have been to the dungeon before, but opted for a more elegant dinner in the main dinning room.

The food was delicious with very attentive waitstaff.

When you walk in look up. You will find an exceptional display of blown glass hanging from the ceiling.

The dark rich woods elevate the experience. We went for steaks, and they were quite delicious. The bread is served with several different choices of butter, each one delicious.”
